The tradition of Old Tom Gin is a botanically intensive style of Gin with a light sweetness which delivers a richer and more rounded profile than other styles of Gin. It was the 'Gin of Choice' in 19th Century England.
Hayman's Old Tom Gin is distilled from an original family recipe from the archives. This Old Tom Gin was the style used in the first cocktail era of the 1880s and features in Jerry Thomas' famous Bartenders Guide (1886) ad Harry Johnson's Bartender Manual (1882).
It is the key ingredient of classic Gin cocktails such as the Martinez, Tom Collins and Ramos Gin Fizz.
