Jameson 18 Years was first introduced in 2002, and it is a whiskey blend that showcases the Master Blender's expertise in curating very old whiskeys. The blend consists of pot still and grain whiskeys that are aged for a minimum of 18 years and matured in American bourbon barrels and Spanish sherry butts. After that, they are further matured in first-fill bourbon barrels. This Jameson Irish Whiskey has a volume of 700ml and an alcohol percentage of 46%. It has a nose of aromatic oils with a hint of wood and spicy toffee. On the palate, it offers a delightful blend of mellow and smooth flavours, including toffee, spice, and vanilla, with subtle notes of wood, leather, and a gentle sherry nuttiness. The finish is long-lasting, carrying through wood, spice, and toffee until the very end.
