Kotsifali is a wine that encompasses the tradition of western Crete, of producing “Marouvas” style wines, adapting it to a more gentle style. The Kotsifali grape, brings forward the warmth of alcohol in sweet fruit and spice notes, elements which reveal the long ageing in used barrels. The noble influence of oxygen, both in the aroma and flavor of the wine, is well integrated, providing complexity and stability to the wine.
